We aim to despatch all orders received before 3pm on the same day.

Standard delivery is FREE on all UK orders and takes between 3-5 working days. We use a variety of couriers depending on location. If you would like to know which courier we will use to send your parcel please contact customer services and we will be happy to help

UK Next Day delivery costs £5.95, all orders placed before 3pm will be received the Next Day.

European delivery costs €10. European delivery within 3-7 working days

International world wide delivery costs £15 and takes between 4-7 working days

We aim to despatch any orders placed after 3pm, the following day, with the exception of Friday when we aim to despatch them the following Monday or next working day if the Monday is a public holiday. These dates and times for delivery are not guaranteed and are all subject to availability from our on-site warehouse.

If you order Next Day Delivery by 3pm, Monday to Thursday, you will receive your goods the next day. If you order anytime on Saturday or Sunday, you will receive your goods on the Tuesday. Any orders placed on a Bank Holiday will be delivered 2 working days later. We do not deliver on a Bank Holiday so please be aware of any upcoming ones when you order!

We do not deliver to PO Boxes.

*Please note that our shipping costs outside of the UK do not include any fees or costs associated with import or customs fees. Each country has different rules for import and custom fees so we advise you to check the rules of your country with regards to any additional costs you might be asked to pay.

Returns and Refunds policy

Non-faulty GoodsIf you are not happy with your goods we offer a free* returns process within the UK only using Royal Mail. If you want to return any goods from outside the UK this must be arranged and paid for by you. Goods must be returned within the cancellation period; this commences upon receipt of your item and ends 14 days later. We will not accept any returns for non-faulty items that have been used and tags removed.Items returned outside the above time frames are only accepted at our discretion and can only be refunded as an 'on-line store credit'.

Faulty Goods

In the unlikely event that our goods are faulty, please follow the procedure outlined below to request a RN and to return the goods. If you have returned the goods to us within a reasonable amount of time and we agree that the goods are faulty we shall offer you a refund or replacement.

All Goods

All returned items must have a Return Number (RN). You may obtain a RN by calling us on 01252 533 561 or by emailing enquiries@modalu.com within the cancellation period. This RN number should be written on your original invoice and on the return shipping label. Unidentified returns may be returned to the sender. We request that all goods are returned within 14 days of the date of your request for a RN.All goods which have been returned in line with the Returns and Refunds policy will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card at the original price paid, including sales taxes but excluding shipping charges unless the item is faulty.

*Returns during sale periods are not free. You, the customer, are responsible for paying the postage for any returns during this period.

If you have a build up of dust or surface dirt on your Modalu handbag or purse simply wipe the bag with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Don't wash it with water or any other chemical; just gently wipe it off.

If you spill something on your Modalu handbag or purse wipe up any excess liquid immediately with a clean cloth or sponge. If needed, wipe down the bag with clean lukewarm water and let the leather air dry.

For spots and stains on the surface of your handbag clear saddle soap may remove some of the deeply soaked in dirt but bear in mind this may temporarily darken the leather. You should use this as a last resort in extreme cases. We recommend you don’t use leather creams on Modalu products as it may cause colour discolouration in the leather due to the cream containing heavy chemicals.

If you have pencil marks on your Modalu product you can try gently using an eraser to get these off. Ink and grease marks can rarely be removed.

It is best to keep any leather out of direct heat and sunlight to protect the skin and preventing it drying out which may cause discolouration and could make the leather stiff.

You can protect your Modalu accessories by spraying it with waterproof leather spray which is available at most cobblers.

For suede try using a suede brush and protector to keep the suede in good condition, you can buy suede brushes and protection spray at most cobblers.
